the things that aren’t immediately obvious.
How should I store this matcha powder?
To preserve the freshness and vibrant green color of your matcha, store it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place, away from heat and direct sunlight. For best results, consume within 1-2 months of opening, as matcha is most flavorful and nutrient-rich when it’s fresh.
What is the recommended serving size?
For traditional preparation, use 2 grams (about 1 teaspoon) per serving. For lattes and cooking, adjust according to your preference.
Can I use this matcha for both traditional tea ceremony and cooking?
Yes, Matcha is perfect for making matcha lattes, smoothies, and other recipes. Its ultra-fine texture ensures it dissolves easily in both hot and cold liquids, creating a smooth, clump-free consistency. Whether you’re looking for a traditional matcha tea or a modern matcha drink, it’s versatile enough for both!
What's the best way to prepare this matcha?
Clumping can sometimes occur if the matcha is not properly sifted before use. We recommend using a fine mesh strainer to sift the matcha powder into your cup or bowl before whisking. Additionally, make sure to use the correct water temperature—ideally, around 175°F (80°C). Boiling water can cause clumping and bitterness. With Matcharl's ultra-fine texture, it should dissolve smoothly when whisked properly.
How long does matcha stay fresh?
Please check the expiration date printed on bottom ofthe can. Once opened, we recommend consuming within 1-2 months for the best flavor and quality, regardless of the expiration date.
