ORIGIN of ICHIMATSU Pattern
Our matcha can is designed to be visually enjoyable, just like looking at a tea bowl.
We created it to let you experience the essence of Japanese culture along with its rich flavor with Ichimatsu Pattern.
The name "Ichimatsu" was given in the mid-Edo period. A popular Kabuki actor named Sanogawa Ichimatsu appeared on stage wearing a hakama with a checkered pattern of alternating white and navy squares.
